Well, she is back at St. Jude having surgery ...they found 2 places in her body. Please pray that she will do exceedingly well and that this is all false and will be right home soon. | Wednesday, July 28, 2010 I'm back asking for prayers for Bro. Cal Adams and his family. You may remember his 6 year old daughter, Kaylyn is fighting a battle with a rare form of leukemia at St. Jude's. The mother, Crystal, had baby Emily last Saturday. Emily is in the neo-natal ICU at St. Francis with breathing difficulties and some neurological issues. They are still doing testing to find out exactly what they are fighting--maybe spinal meningitis. Bro. Cal is the pastor of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church in Bastrop. Please pray for this precious family and the entire church family as they are faced with these grave circumstances. Praise news about my sister-in-laws thyroid biopsy--no malignancy was found!!! - Lynne |
| Tuesday, July 27, 2010 Many of you have asked how my mother is doing. She has decided to forego the chemo and ride it out. As the drs. had indicated, the chemo would not give her enough time to be worth the side effects and the treatments. Right now, she is at home--by herself. That is where she wants to be and we are trying to make that possible for as long as possible. Physically she is OK, but tires very easily. Mentally she seems more confused each day. Thank ya'll for all of your prayers and concerns. Please continue to remember us in your prayers. Thank you. - Lynne |
